Practice Policy
All players should attend all practices. Church and school sponsored events are of course acceptable reasons to miss practice but the coaches should be notified. Coaches can restrict playing time for missed practices. Player safety is our primary reason for this policy, if a player misses to much practice they may not be prepared for what happens in a contact game leading to injury and it is also in the interest of fairness to the players who practice and put forth maximum effort to see players who aren't practicing still get playing time. The player will be notified as to why playing time is being restricted; it cannot be done without explanation.
Questions about this policy should be directed to Rob Schultz not the team coaches.
Please, out of respect for our goal of teaching teamwork and keeping football fun at this age We ask that all parents, fans and Predator supporters not engage in arguing or yelling at referees, other teams or coaches. Positive support to players and teams is what kids respond to and they will emulate the actions of the older people around them.
Keep in mind all the people who do this are volunteers and each community deals with the same issues of having young refs and not every flag will be thrown. We all need to keep in mind the goal of the kids learning the game and having fun!
Thank You

The Algona After 5 Kiwanis is inviting all MYFL players to compete in the NFL PPK on Tuesday Sept. 6 after your practice.
You can register in advance online at this link: http://www.nflppk.com/competitions/search/local_results
This is the competition that Drake Buscherfeld won at the team finals in Minneapolis last year before the Vikings game.
Hope you all stay after practice to compete at Vet's Park.
Thanks - Doug Kollasch Algona After 5 Kiwanis
